To all our family of clients, their families and friends,
We hope this finds all of you healthy, safe and well. As areas around the country begin to relax the shelter in place standards we have been under for the last several weeks, we thought this would be the right time to reach out to each of you. As a business, yes, we are glad to know that this might be the beginning of the way back to restarting our lives and getting back to the state of whatever the new "normal" might be. It will be exciting and wonderful to start to see all of you again, but we are going to take a realistic approach to this. We know that just because there will be more freedoms of activity starting to happen, we know that each person is going to move forward with this at their own pace and comfort level. Please be assured, we know we will see you when you become ready to venture out. We promise to you, when you are ready to book again, we will be here to answer the phone, and will be looking forward to that time.
As things have evolved with the pandemic, we have as well. In our last email to you, and in some phone conversations as well, we told you of our measures in place to keep the environment of the car clean and sanitized. We still, as we have since the beginning, carry and offer hand sanitizer to all clients on request, but we have upgraded our cleaning solution to something even more effective. The solution is a product named Hospital-Grade Disinfectant, Sanitizer & Virucide (HGD-V). It is E.P.A. registered, EPA REG # 10324-154-56782, MEETS OSHA BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN STANDARD FOR HIV, HBV AND HCV, and is listed on the New York State list of registered disinfectants. The E.P.A. number can be researched at the following website, https://www.epa.gov/pesticide-registration/list-n-disinfectants-use-against-sars-cov-2. This product is available locally, for a limited time, at https://hgd-v.com/. This product is used before and after each service, on all points of contact inside the vehicle. We are also using an aerosol spray disinfectant, named Simoniz S3324012 Disinfectant Spray. This is an EPA-registered product, SIMONIZ DISINFECTANT SPRAY EPA REG. NO. 11623-24-18305, qualified for use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19. This cleaner is effective to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and is a Quaternary-based disinfectant spray for further disinfecting surfaces after cleaning. Bactericidal, fungicidal, staphylocidal, and psuedomonacidal, it is EPA registered and controls and disinfects all inanimate environmental surfaces. It is available from https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/. This product is used to disinfect the floor boards of the car, the truck or storage compartment of the vehicles, and is used to treat any luggage you would like, before you arrive at the airport, or upon your return.
Along with this procedure, all drivers will wear a mask to cover both the nose and the mouth, and gloves, which is a requirement in Palm Beach County, for our industry. All clients, while in the vehicle , also must wear a mask or facial covering, over their nose and mouth, as per Palm Beach County requirements. Gloves are encouraged, but not required. For the time being, water will be available as always, but only on request, as we will do what is necessary to minimize the risk of possibly spreading anything.
We ask that you take away from this the most important message we give to you. Yes, a business is often measured primarily by its bottom line, the balance sheet, and profit. While that is one component, it is not the most important. Many have heard us say for years, a business is only truely successful based on the value it places on the relationships it has with the clients who support it as patrons. At the end of today, and every day, you are what is the most important part. Your health, your safety and your comfort. We will be here for you, when you are ready, our promise and commitment to you all. Thank you for so many awesome years, and to so many more to come. Stay healthy, well and safe. All our best to all of you, sincerely, George, Mary, Jeff, Jim and Mike.
